The Search for Truth

Who is the architect

Behind these rules we must play by?

Its several years later

And I still see nothing but fools

Laying brick to pave the roads

For royalty to pass through.

We’re fed a lifetime of lies

And even begin to perceive them as such,

Through our eyes

The belief is now ingrained

That the world is such

And we must oblige

I’ve lost my fellow man and woman

So much so

That they laugh in my appeals

As I try to awaken their souls

“This is how the world is”

I’m recklessly told

So where does one go,

To unwire the robotic hold

They are marching in the millions now,

For a cause unknown

Dogma is crippling reason,

And causing nations to fold

And so to save my beloved society

I must first save my own

I am off to meet with the nobles

To learn why the narrative is so

So let us say our goodbyes now

As I am unsure, what the future holds

The journey is to uncover tangible truths

Yet I cannot promise,

To return with a manifesto of prose

For the answers I find may reveal,

That it is best I let go

And let the horror continue to unfold.
