Finding Meaning in Suffering
I Searched
And I Searched.
Submerged in suffering
I drowned ever more,
With every passing effort to defuse the agony.
The Tug of War for Peace
There’s a constant conflict in the creature in me
For I yearn for attention
But also yearn for peace
Better yet-
Peaks and Valleys
Embrace the rollercoaster, there is no escalator in life.
There is great thrill in being down,
Knowing there is nowhere to go but up;
And all that goes up, gravity will pull down.
Unapologetically Me
Why should I apologize
For who I am,
Or who I’ve become,
Or what I’m becoming?
Serendipity
If I could close my eyes
And imagine a bright sunrise
Roaring with mellow yellows
And angry reds
Frustrations
SCREAM
So loud, that your voice travels to the Yukon Valley
For the pain is real,
And no one can tell you otherwise, how to feel
The War for Happiness
I pray with you
My comrade in arms
To have the courage to fight today
The next day
