Today I appear strong willed and in control

Befriend this person quickly

As it may be a while,

Till I am back in the fold.

Tomorrow what may appear

Is a vulnerable state of mind,

With no pot of gold.

It is therefore my humble request to the jury

To put their personal bias to the side

And befriend this version,

At the same time.
