“The unexamined life is not worth living”
A Destiny Suppressed
You will never feel at ease
You will never be at peace
You will never feel the breeze
In a midsummer night’s dream
Judgment of the Passerby
I wonder
How we have the courage to dream
To look to the blue sky

The Idealist
The mob continued to pierce the spirit with jaded stones
“This is how the world is..”
Was the battle cry
Followed by a slur intended to nullify,
Daily Affirmations
She awoke
Not with worry and fear,
But a smile
Knowing this was her year

Not far from a fallen tree.
The sun and moon dance together,
For eternity.
The Irony of Ignorance
I made a grave mistake once
And engaged with an ignorant man
What more, even proclaimed to him loudly,

Groundhogs Day

Contended the soft angel on the right.
Blasphemy! Tomorrow comes everyday!
Just wait till tomorrow, and you will see,
Urged the shrewd devil on the left.
FONT (Fear Of Not Thinking)
All
Please gather
In today’s proceedings,
No stone is to be left unturned
Insecurity Disguised as Morality
I engaged in a self-less act once
An act seemingly triggered by direction from my own moral compass
At the end,
Awaiting praise for the deed,
